Amazon documents the Fire TV Stick 4K Select as a Vega OS device. Setup advice written for Android-based Fire OS devices should not be copied to this model.
What to check
- Open the Amazon Appstore on the device.
- Search for the official app from the television service or player publisher.
- Read the Works With information.
- Confirm the publisher before entering credentials.
Setup direction
Use the Vega OS setup guide. The app must be available for the device through a supported route. Do not assume an Android APK can be installed or run.
Buying or choosing an app
Check compatibility before paying for a separate player licence. An app licence for another platform does not guarantee a Vega OS version or access on this device.
